Ham & Egg salad (Detox - Day 2 lunch)


After a good workout at the gym I enjoyed a ‘softer but fuller’ salad today. Compared to the crunchy ingredients of yesterday I’m softening this one with egg and ham – gives lovely taste and texture with the lettuce. For a bit of sweetness I’ve used Balsamic instead of Cider vinegar.

50g lettuce leaves = 8
1 salad tomato (approx. 70g) = 13
1/3 avocado = 79
30g slice lean Ham = 33
2 medium eggs = 176
10ml Balsamic vinegar = 13

That’s a total of 322 calories with 14g protein. There is 13g fat but these mainly come from the Avocado (7g) which is a ‘good fat’. The eggs provide 5g and the Ham only 1g fat.
