Heat up tin 400g tin of chopped tomatoes (80 - 90)
Add herbs and spices as desired
- e.g. basil or chilli

Sauteed mushrooms
100g mushrooms sliced (25)
Lightly fried in 1tsp (5ml) olive oil (40)
Mixed with 1 clove crushed garlic (4)
Sprinkle with 1-2tsp (approx 5g) Parmesan cheese (30)

Even quicker when done in the microwave with garlic puree! Don't even need the butter....gives more!

Wholemeal toast with ham & dijon mustard
Ham on toast reminds me of Holland - certainly with the mustard. A lovely crunchy tasty snack for just 100 calories. Bit of carbs, protein and fat for nicely rounded snack too.

Sweet corn and butter
Half cup / 80g sweet corn kernals (55 - 70)
1.5tsp (7.5g) light olive oil spread or a smidge (3g) of butter (25 - 30)

Crackers and cheese
I slice Leerdamer light (55) or 1 slice Chesdale low fat (38)
Low cal crackers (15 to 20 each)
= two med crackers and 1 slice leerdamer or three low cal crackers and 1 slice chesdale
Yup - cheese is very calorific! Still .... I can enjoy a little of something I like guilt free. =======================================
Almonds and dark chocolate
10 almonds (70)
Half square Lindt 70% dark chocolate (25)

Vege sticks and cottage cheese
75g carrot (about half large) = 33
50g cucumber (about half of 6cm long piece) = 5
40g celery (about 1 stalk = 3)
75g low fat cottage cheese (30g red pesto =22, 45g onion & chive = 34)
Alternative:
60g Low fat cottage cheese (about 2 Tbs) = 45
75g (about half large) carrot = 33
80g (about 6 small) cherry tomatoes = 15
