Sausages, Leek & Mash (Detox - Day 1 dinner)

Although I'm on a 'detox' it didn't stop me from enjoying a typical dinner that my husband had requested - sausage and mash.

That's because my detox is from sugar. For three days I'm not having any unrefined sugar (or sweeteners) and I'm not having any grains (bread or pasta). Just wholesome produce (fruit & vege) with some lean protein.

For dinner I had three low calorie sausages (these are Weight Watchers) - just 60 calories each = 180
Two leeks (150g) sliced and steamed (the steaming keeps their shape) =  35
With half a serving of Smash (one serving is 30g dry) = 51
A little bit of gravy to top it all off (just two teaspoons of made up Bisto gravy -10ml) = 4

Another yummy filling meal coming in at just 270 calories
The meal provides 20g protein and just 4g fat
