Felt like bacon and eggs this morning so I fried some up with a smidge of butter and two handfuls of mushrooms - a great side veg as they're filling, nutritious and low calorie! This pile came in at 140g and only 18 calories.
I used Tesco's low fat bacon rashers (fat already cut off so two pieces only 65cals). Eggs range between 70-100 depending on size (these are 78 calories each). So with the dab of butter (3g / half teaspoon) at 22 calories I had a filling and protein powered breakfast for under 200! Even had room for my morning 10calorie capsule of Evening Primrose Oil (for those fat flushing Omegas) and a cup of tea with skimmed milk.
