When I was four stone heavier I would have 2-3 slices of Vogels with lashings of butter and then my favourite toppings of marmite & cheese and tomatoes with a little balsamic vinegar.
Now when I toasted a slice as a treat I was in a quandary as to what I would have on my single slice since two felt too calorific. Then I was surprised at the thickness of the slice and decided to try halving it through the middle - I successfully made two thinner slices!
Has been a filling breakfast and still feels indulgent without breaking the 'calorie bank'.
