A filling delicious meal that can be even lower cals without the mince or using Quorn alternative.
The chilli comprises of one fifth of the following ingredients:
500g mince (620 cals = 124 per person)
300g Kidney Beans (325 = 65pp)
400g tinned chopped tomatoes (90 cals = 18pp)
Square Dark chocolate (58 = 12pp)
20ml Encona chilli sauce (45 = 9pp)
1tsp (5ml) olive oil (40 = 8pp)
2 Tbs (30ml) Tomato ketchup (30 = 6pp)
So that's 242 calories per serve of chilli.
I then serve with:
20g low fat cheese (33 calories)
100g French Beans (25 cals)
Half cup cooked rice (100)
That gives a lovely healthy meal for exactly 400 calories!
The chilli freezes well too - I've had this as a leftover dinner while hubby away.
